WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in God the Father Almighty. The maker of heaven and Earth. And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. The third day He arose from the dead; He ascended into heaven and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sin, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. AMEN |
Additionally, this GREAT church stands on the shoulders of those who have come before us. Their dedication for and love of the Almighty God propelled them forward. The members of Hickory Grove CME Church continue that strong legacy of dedication and love today as we all strive to edify, build and strengthen the kingdom of God.
